Carribean Bay
An indoor and outdoor swimming pool located in Everland based on the Central American Carribean Sea of the 17th century. It has an artificial beach and several water attractions. There are also two cafes where you can eat and drink. It is open all year and you don't have to bring money inside the pool area because all purchases can be made with a barcode hand-ring which you receive upon entry. More information on Carribean Bay.

Lotte World Swimming Pool
Within the sports facilities, Lotte World offers a mega-size swimming pool with lots of other attractions. The swimming pool itself is located under a clear glass dome which makes you feel being outside. They also provide a sauna and a King Cobra Slide. It is open all year round but the prices vary for low season and high season. If you like to swim, take a sauna and use the slide it is better to buy a so called "Free Pass" which gives acces to these facilities without paying upon entry. You can also buy a combined ticket for swimming pool and sauna.

Hangang Parks
Along the banks of the "Han River", which flows through Seoul, are 13 parks with all kinds of outdoor facilities. The parks are named after the districts they are in and in the following districts you can find large-sized outdoor swimming pools: Mangwon, Yeoido, Ichon, Jamwon, Ttukseom, Jamsil and Gwangnaru. Open hours: 9.00 am. - 7.00 pm. Fees: children (4-12 years) 2.000 won, teenagers (13-18 years) 3.000 won and adults 4.000 won. Parking is available but the charges vary from park to park. Tower Hotel Swimming Pool
Located near Mt. Namsan in Seoul, the Tower Hotel opens its outdoor swimming pool to the public. You are even allowed to bring your own snacks and if you didn't, don't worry, they also have a snack stand. There are two pools, one for adults and one for children and with 160 chairs available you are able to relax in the sun. During weekdays children up to 13 years pay 7.000 won and adults 15.000 won. In the weekend you pay 8.000 won for children and 15.000 won for adults. The parking fee is 3.000 won and if you come by public transport a shuttle bus from the Tower Hotel goes back and forth to Dongguk University Station (line 3). Spavalley in Daegu City
This is a real swimming and bathing world. Especially the waterpark is nice to visit with the whole family. There is a wave pool, a diving pool, a water polo pool, a kids pool and a solar room. In the wave pool it is necessary to wear a life jacket since they have 8 kind of waves with a maximum height of 5 ft. For those who want to stay there the whole day there are many other things to do, getting an Indonesian massage for example. Look at the Spavalley website and enjoy the way of giving information.


N.B. If you are going to a swimming pool in Seoul do not forget to bring a bathing cap!!
